NEWS! MICHAEL HOFFMANN LEFT ASSASSIN!

After 15 years playing with Assassin, guitarist Michael Hoffmann decided to leave the band.
His decision to leave became apparent already during the recordings and production of the new album „Combat Cathedral“, because he didn't take part of it much.
We gave him the time to think about it and after all he took this decision because of personal reasons in case of the new style Assassin was going with „Combat Cathedral“.
He will stay musically active for sure and we wish the best success for him and his future projects.
You can see Assassin live from September on with a substitute on guitar that is well known to the scene.
So watch out for the next Assassin news to come!

Nach über 15 Jahren bei Assassin ist unser Gitarrist Michael Hoffmann aus der Band ausgestiegen.
Sein Ausstieg zeichnete sich leider schon bei den Arbeiten und der Produktion des neuen Albums Combat Cathedral ab, da er daran nur wenig teilgenommen hatte. Wir haben ihm die Zeit gelassen, sich alles in Ruhe zu überlegen. Nach langem Überlegen und hinsichtlich des ,Stils, den Assassin mit Combat Cathedral gehen, fiel dann doch letztendlich seine Entscheidung des Ausstiegs aus persönlichen Gründen.
Er wird sicher musikalisch aktiv bleiben und wir wünschen ihm alles Gute dafür.
Assassin werden ab September live zu sehen sein mit einem entsprechenden Ersatz, der der Szene bekannt sein wird.

EYEXIST: New band featuring Gorelust & Kataklysm members!

EYEXIST Releases first video!

The band, round up by (ex-GORELUST) singer Jean Beaulieu, Guitarist Francis Bouillon and session drummer / bassist / current KATAKLYSM member Olivier Beaudoin, is slowly gearing up to release its first album THE DIGITAL HOLOCAUST through PRC MUSIC (worldwide) in the Fall.

EYEXIST describes his music as Avant-garde Death Metal while keeping everything very, very heavy, in your face and brutal in its very own way. Here is what label owner Rémi Coté had to say about the whole project:

"Not sure how to actually describe EYEXIST's sound, but its musically original with some over the top drums arrangements and orchestrations and uber thick heavy guitars! The icing on the cake, in my humble opinion, is the amazing vocals delivery from one of the very best Death Metal singer coming out from Québec, ever! So yeah, we're happy to be working once again with Jean and his new project... all I can add is get this when it comes out!"

reveal all details about new album "Pathetic Divinity"

After the release of the free digital single "Altered Divination" on June 3rd, legendary Death Metal veterans MERCYLESS are now revealing further details about their new, sixth, studio full-length, "Pathetic Divinity".
This new effort is set for an October 7th release and marks the second step of the band's 30th anniversary celebrations, which started one month ago and will last throughout the end of 2016 and the whole of 2017.

The album, produced by Philippe Reinhalter at the Psykron Studio (PUTRID OFFAL, DIVISION ALPHA...) and mastered by Frédéric Motte at the Conkrete Studio (ANATA remasters, OTARGOS, PUTRID OFFAL...), will be available for pre-orders on August 29th, 2016 on the following physical supports:
